Terms of service
Thought I'd forget about those? Yeah, I'd like to but well, tough luck. So here is the page where I'm going to ask you for an arm, a leg and the sacrifice of your firstborn child.
First things first. Those "I", "me" and any other first-person pronoun you can see all other the place refer to a single person, Johann Queuniet, aka Tchyo. Since this domain is anonymized, you won't get any further information from the DNS whois databases. Try AS whois databases instead, like Gandi (JQ121-GANDI) and RIPE (JQ97-RIPE).
Clicking on the shiny button on the application page imply full agreement with the following terms and conditions.
- This is an hosting, nothing more and nothing less.
- This server is hosted in France, so you have to agree not to break any French or European law.
- Furthermore, since European law is a bitch with private data, I'm not supposed to store anything like your name. This also applies to you, unless your database is declared to the relevant authority. Feel free to ask if you have any doubt on the subject. Better safe than sorry.
- Sole discretion for the providing of this service belongs to me. I can shut it down anytime, with all reasonable attempts made to salvage your data.
- This is best-effort hosting, you are guaranteed nothing. Due care is taken toward data safety but don't come crying after me if something happens.
- I'm giving away my bandwidth so please don't cover your whole site with ads. Or try to make money from your account in any way.
- This is not file hosting, I'm looking for real websites even if it's only one page or a mere project. A few stray files like personals banners or avatars is fine. Using the whole account this way is not. And don't even think about large files like ISO disc images.
- Exceptions to rules #6 and #7 are subject to my express permission.
- If I catch you breaking any of these rules, you have a 24 hours grace period to amend yourself. Past this delay your account will be terminated without any attempt to save your data.
- I don't care if you "got hacked", everything done with your username is your responsibility. So take care of those passwords and don't give them to anyone.
- Assistance can be provided in either French or English, nothing else.
- Don't piss me off.
